Close Protection / Bodyguard
In 2006 it became illegal to work in the Close Protection Sector without a front line Close Protection license. To gain a license you must successfully complete a CP course that is compliant with the specifications as laid down by the SIA. GDM are qualified in all aspects required to deliver this course.
The course itself is accredited by Edexcel and covers all the core competencies as specified by the SIA. As well as the basics there will be extra tuition which will be invaluable to all prospective CP Operatives. All of our Instructors have a Military back ground as well as the qualifications needed to teach.
This course is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to qualify for a license to practice as a Close Protective Operative. It gives the individual an opportunity to develop a range of skills and techniques and also improve on personal qualities and attitudes that are essential in performance of their work.
