Fire Fighting (Enhanced)
This course complies with all UK statutory requirements and is legally recognised and can only be attended by suitable candidates who have been processed prior to induction. Part of the process includes medical, fitness, manual dexterity and team building exercises.
The overall training programme allows students to acquire knowledge, skills and understanding to enable them to become a safe and valued member of an operational fire fighting crew. The enhanced course is also designed to teach emergency rescue teams how to effectively combat on/off site, rescue and medical emergencies.
Key elements of this course include cultural awareness, discipline, practical and realistic fire training, incident command training, specialist training, emergency fire appliance driving and personal development.
